The technician is responsible for repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment while performing preventative maintenance tasks. They must also respond to plant emergencies and maintain detailed maintenance paperwork.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in machine or building maintenance. Proficiency with technical manuals, blueprints, and basic welding is required.

SUMMARY: The Occupational Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the facility. The Occupational Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks on all equipment in the assigned area. The Occupational Maintenance Technician is required to work with all types of hand tools, powered tools, lifts, welding/cutting tools, fabrication tools, compressors, food processing equipment, high voltage equipment, etc.
