Responsible for marketing, underwriting, and processing assigned general construction lines of business. This includes pricing policies, negotiating terms with brokers, and managing the performance of the assigned underwriting territory.
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least three years of underwriting experience with granted authority. Candidates should possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, with CPCU or IIA designations preferred.

Job Description
Argo Group currently has a challenging opportunity for an Underwriter in their General Construction line of business. This is a production underwriting position responsible for marketing, underwriting and processing assigned lines of business.

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
