The Quality Technician monitors production processes and performs regular inspections on incoming, in-process, and outgoing materials to ensure quality standards. They are also responsible for documenting defects, managing calibration records, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a strong understanding of quality control standards and blueprint reading. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in an industrial environment is required.
As a Quality Technician, you will uphold all HME Ahrens-Fox safety requirements while monitoring the production process to guarantee all our products meet HME Ahrens-Fox quality expectations.
The Quality Technician will perform regular evaluations of materials and product, record said inspection results, and when applicable, recommend improvements to assist in reducing quality issues. The Quality Technician will also participate in problem solving initiatives to assist in improving the overall quality of the products we produce.
General Physical Requirements: light to moderate work – required to exert up to 30 lbs. of force regularly up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally.
