The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for sustaining and optimizing surface finishing operations, specifically hard chrome, cadmium-titanium, and nickel plating. This includes developing work instructions, improving tooling efficiency, and leading process qualification activities with clients.
Candidates should have a technical degree and at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, specifically in aerospace surface finishing and plating. Proficiency in NADCAP requirements and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings are essential.

Located in Strongsville, the 90+ employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Héroux-Devtek’s centers of excellence for the final assembly of landing gear.
As part of the Central Division, you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs such as the Boeing 777 and Embraer E-2, and important military programs such as F-18, F-35, C-17 and C-130.
With a strong focus on latest technology of manufacturing processes with machining automation and techniques we aim to remain the best value producer of complex landing gear components.
The Senior Process Engineer will sustain and optimize surface finishing operations within our plating facility. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining robust processes to drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with other process engineers, tooling engineers, and shop floor personnel.
