The Quality Technician is responsible for performing final electrical and mechanical testing on switchgear and power distribution assemblies to ensure they meet safety and workmanship requirements. This includes executing hi-pot and insulation tests, documenting results, and initiating nonconformance reports for any defects found.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment, with the ability to read engineering drawings. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with ISO 9001, electrical test equipment, and UL 891 certification.
