The Senior Regulatory Specialist will provide task management and technical leadership for environmental projects, including developing permitting strategies and construction compliance. They will direct the preparation of permit applications and technical reports while coordinating with various federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Candidates must have 10-15 years of experience in environmental regulatory practice and a degree in a related scientific or planning discipline. Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental laws, NEPA documentation, and advanced technical communication skills are required.

This position will be part of Stantec’s Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of projects, including support of public transportation, localities/municipalities, public utilities, electric transmission and renewables due diligence and permitting. Our staff members have established excellent working relationships with clients throughout the mid-Atlantic, and our knowledge and interdisciplinary expertise allow us to help our clients develop the most effective and innovative approaches to their environmental / engineering compliance goals.
