The Senior Account Representative will drive business growth in East China by managing existing accounts and developing new customer programs from concept to commercialization. Responsibilities include setting sales objectives, conducting customer visits, and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and account data.
Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of commercial experience in the plastics industry is required, along with fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English.
The position is for an expert in engineering plastics, to conduct field sales and customer development within the defined territory. and provide a key interface between the customers (Decision maker/molder/OEM) and company to drive Celanese's EM business growth in the East China region.
1. Work closely with business planning staff and local technical resources to grow the business with existing accounts.
2. Develop new customers in the region and to move customer programs from concept to commercialization.
3. Set clear goals and objectives including sales target for the covered territory.
4. Develop knowledge and insight of major competitive threats including competitor landscaping, market share analysis and competitive material’s attributes to specific applications.
5. Account Planning and Management:
6. Pipeline Development;
7. Value Capture.
8. Responsible for creating/maintaining sales forecasts.
9. Maintains all SFDC data related to assigned accounts (Account plans, relationship maps, etc.).
•BS or higher degree, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related majors are plus.•Chinese (fluent in mandarin) as a native language，Good oral and written in English.• At least 8 years commercial working experience in plastic field. Knowledge of POM, PA, PBT, LFT, LCP,PPS and TPE will be a plus.•Experienced in new business development. •Key account managerment experience, Ability to implement marketing plans, including multi-level interactions with customers. •Problem solving and results oriented.•Willing to business travel frequently.
