The Survey Instrument Operator assists Land Surveyors and Party Chiefs by performing field data collection for boundary, topographical, and construction stakeout surveys. They are responsible for operating survey instruments, maintaining equipment, and providing accurate field notes.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and ideally six months of survey experience. The role requires the ability to travel extensively and perform physical labor in all-weather outdoor conditions.
