Must be a trade-qualified welder with power station experience and the ability to pass an X-ray weld test. Required certifications include a White Card, Gas Test Atmosphere, Working at Heights, and Confined Space tickets.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Special Class Welders to provide outage services at Eraring Power Station in the Hunter region, NSW. Starting in mid August, Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Special Class Welder, you will apply your expertise in piping setup, structural and welding fabrication, and boiler casings, ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.
ABOUT YOU
Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, Gas Test Atmosphere, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (within 3 years validity). Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.
