The ideal candidate is a quick learner, results-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and scaling Intel's software for data platform and analytics ecosystem. The position focuses on the design, development, deployment, and optimization of data infrastructure, telemetry processing pipelines, customer health analytics, and fleet quality solutions. You will work closely with software architects, customer engineering teams, validation organizations, and data scientists to transform large-scale platform telemetry into actionable insights that improve product quality, customer experience, defect screening, fleet reliability, and operational efficiency across Intel Xeon products.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend components supporting software and data platform infrastructure.
Work on data extraction, processing, and analysis of information collected from Intel Server Health screening applications and customer fleet telemetry solutions.
Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines using distributed computing frameworks.
Build and maintain fleet-scale analytics solutions supporting customer telemetry, reliability, quality, and health monitoring data.
Perform queries against cloud-hosted relational and non-relational databases.
Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries supporting large-scale data analysis workloads.
Create and maintain data processing code and extraction pipelines that feed data marts and analytics platforms from enterprise data warehouses.
Develop, modify, and maintain Python-based backend services and data presentation applications supporting customer and stakeholder reporting needs.
Propose, develop, and enhance dashboards, visualizations, and analytics solutions used by engineering teams and customers.
Deploy, manage, and optimize services running on Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and modern DevOps practices.
Work closely with Microsoft Azure cloud services to deploy scalable and reliable data platform solutions.
Collaborate on software release planning, deployment activities, and operational readiness reviews.
Identify, isolate, track, and resolve software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Perform code debugging, root-cause analysis, bug resolution, and automated test development.
Optimize system performance and proactively identify scalability bottlenecks across the data platform ecosystem.
Partner with customer engineering, validation, manufacturing, and fleet operations teams to analyze large-scale telemetry datasets and improve platform quality initiatives.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate should bring a combination of:
Software engineering and data engineering expertise using Python and modern data frameworks.
Deep understanding of large-scale data platforms, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience building telemetry analytics, fleet health monitoring, and customer quality solutions.

Data pipeline development, analytics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
Customer-focused engineering mindset with strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
Operate across software architecture, validation, customer engineering, manufacturing, and quality organizations.
Experience supporting large-scale Data Center and Xeon server solutions.
Problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in highly dynamic technical environments.
Passion for leveraging data to improve customer quality, fleet reliability, defect screening, and operational efficiency.
