The technician is responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems to ensure they meet engineering specifications. They must also document all work performed and maintain compliance with safety and quality programs.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least four years of relevant experience, or two years of accredited schooling plus two years of experience. Proficiency in reading blueprints and operating test equipment is required, with A&P or FCC licenses preferred.
