Requires a Master's degree with 2 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in RF or Optics Design. Proficiency in RF hardware concepts, antenna design, and various RF testing tools is required.
Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of wireless designs in hearing aids and hearing aid accessories. Duties include: design wireless hardware for products through the product development process; testing and troubleshooting of product to characterize the unit and system level RF performance; continuous improvement in product and process; support transfer of products and product knowledge into manufacturing; and, provide work direction to technicians. Requires Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 2 years’ experience with RF or Optics Design, or, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 5 years’ experience with RF or Optics Design. Requires demonstrated proficiency with: RF hardware design concepts, practices, and procedures; antenna design and testing; design and test methods for body-loaded consumer electronics; electromagnetic theory; oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, and spectrum analyzer; antenna and circuit simulation tools; and, MATLAB. 5 days/week in-office. $130,291/year.
