Job Description:
This recruitment will be used to hire a number of part-time undergraduate Student Learning Assistant positions for the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Oregon State University (OSU).
This position preforms a wide variety of work that supports the quality of education in the Department at the university. There may also be a potential need for assistance with special topics courses as well.
The Undergraduate Student Support Services Worker performs a variety of work related to the support and enhancement of the quality of student life at the university.
Position Duties:
100% Duties to be determined by hiring unit but may include:
Mentoring, assisting with office ours/posting on discussion boards.
Assisting with grading based on a rubric.
Attending weekly TA meetings.
Helping with labs, and/or recitations under guidance of the GTA or course instructor. These duties will vary depending on the specific course requirements.
