We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Database Management Analyst located in the Washington, D.C. area.
What you’ll do:
The Mid-Level Database Management Analyst will provide data analytics support to a U.S. Navy program office.
Responsibilities:
Administer, test, implement, and coordinate changes to computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation
Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items
Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations
Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience providing data analytics support to U.S. Navy program offices
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering, or related field from an institution accredited in the United States
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
