The Stationary Engineer is responsible for operating, monitoring, and repairing central plant equipment and utilities for hospitals and clinics. This includes performing preventative maintenance, managing energy systems, and conducting regular building rounds to ensure efficiency.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience with water treatment, HVAC controls, and Energy Management Systems. Certification in OSHA Basic and NFPA70E is required, with an associate degree in Operating Engineering preferred.

The Stationary Engineer is responsible for maintaining, operating, monitoring, and repairing all utilities and related central plant equipment and respond to maintenance requests for assistance to hospital, clinic and supporting facilities. Also responsible for maintaining the central plant in good, clean working condition maintains preventative maintenance (P.M.), and scheduling and completing corrective maintenance to all equipment in a timely and professional manner actively documenting all activities and maintenance.
