The Teaching Assistant will prepare and deliver lectures, mark assignments, and hold office hours for the GE 348 Engineering Economics course. Additional duties include student consulting, invigilating exams, and supervising experiments or field trips.
Candidates must hold at least a B.Sc. degree in Engineering and possess a background in engineering economics and decision analysis. Applicants must maintain good academic standing and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be: Example: Preparing, delivering and/or attending lectures; demonstrating, marking, student consulting, invigilating, holding office hours, setting up experiments, supervising field trips and conferring with the supervisor in charge as required by the assignment for GE 348 Minimum of a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Engineering and teaching experience engineering economics and decision analysis background, or topics like fundamental economic concepts, cost concepts, time value of money operations, comparison of alternatives, depreciation and income tax, economic analysis of projects in the public and private sectors; break-even analysis, sensitivity and risk analysis, decision models. Maintain good academic standing.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) is a division within the College of Medicine with the University of Saskatchewan. CME is a leader in enhancing the patient's quality of health through its innovative educational opportunities in lifelong learning. Event Accreditation helps organizing committees stay on track with all the elements required by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of Family Physicians of Canada for an event to be claimed for study credits by your learners. The Division of CME is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME).
