The Child Education Coordinator I implements preschool early intervention services by coordinating with families, teachers, and service providers to ensure compliance with educational laws. They monitor service delivery, manage educational records, and facilitate IEP team processes to support meaningful educational progress for children.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Early Education, Special Education, or a related field. At least two years of experience in case management or early childhood education is preferred, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

The Child Education Coordinator I (CEC I) is one of the primary contacts engages with families, ECE directors and teachers, service providers, and other community stakeholders and Elwyn staff to implement preschool early intervention in the City of Philadelphia per PA Chapter 14 and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requirements. This position works in conjunction with the LEA representative to ensure that the basic tenants of educational law, quality service delivery, compliance, and family engagement are consistently met.
