The Opportunity

Are you organised, communicative, and passionate about supporting people? We're seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to join us on a part-time basis (3 days per week). You'll be the go-to person for coordinating our L&D programs, managing training initiatives, and supporting our managers and employees to reach their potential.

What you'll be responsible for

Learning & Development

You'll plan and schedule training programs that make a real difference, facilitate in-house training sessions, and support career development and succession planning across the organisation. You'll manage our Learning Management System and compliance training, organise engaging career events and talent initiatives, and liaise with our L&D team in Australia to share best practice and ensure consistency.

Recruitment & Onboarding Support

You'll help screen and shortlist candidates, coordinate reference checks and pre-employment medicals, and support new starters through a smooth onboarding experience. You'll ensure managers have the tools and training they need to onboard effectively, and celebrate employee milestones with certificates and recognition.

HR Administration

You'll keep our training records accurate and up-to-date, coordinate IT setup for new team members, manage compliance tracking and reporting, and support HR projects as they come up.

What you'll need to be successful

What We're Looking For

You'll have 5+ years' experience in recruitment and selection, a tertiary qualification in HR or equivalent experience, and Train the Trainer certification. Experience facilitating and mentoring employees, along with a background in training and generalist HR, is essential.

Your Strengths

You're an excellent communicator who explains things clearly and builds great relationships with colleagues across the business. You're super organized and thrive on coordination with strong attention to detail. You work collaboratively with operations teams and L&D colleagues, taking a genuine interest in supporting others. You're a self-starter who takes initiative and works independently, and you're adaptable – rolling with changes and staying positive. You have strong integrity, respect confidentiality, and are tech-savvy with proficiency in Google platform and learning systems. 

You are an effective communicator with a strong work ethic, and with confidence in your own capability, you work with a high degree of personal integrity and autonomy. Along with planning and organisational ability you are able to work well under pressure and quickly adapt to changing circumstances. You bring with you strong commercial acumen, analytical, problem solving skills as well as good literacy and numeracy skills.
