Job Posting Details
The appointee will contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the Department by providing high-quality administrative support to faculty members, academic programs and general office functions. Major duties include:
Faculty Support: Collaborate closely with faculty to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support for their research and teaching. This involves processing procurements and reimbursements, managing room bookings, assisting with research support staff recruitment, and facilitating consultant appointments.
Administrative & Office Support: Support the smooth running of daily office operations, including handling general enquiries, maintaining department inventory records and assisting with ad hoc projects and departmental events as required.
Program Administration: Provide dedicated administrative support for the effective management of various departmental UGC-funded programs, including assisting with program operations, student-related matters, data compilation, document preparation, internal coordination and other program administration duties.
Applicants should possess an associate degree or higher diploma, preferably a bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years of relevant administrative experiences. Experience in the tertiary education sector is an advantage. The appointee should be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. They should be detail-oriented, self-motivated with excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills. They should be able to work independently and as a team, with high flexibility for ad-hoc tasks and a strong sense of responsibility. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
