Department Summary The UNT Career Center is responsible for the career development and employment of all UNT students and alumni. It has responsibility for all Career Readiness, Coaching, and Education, Student Employment, Internships, and Post-Graduate Employment of UNT students. The Career Center operates as a centralized department with a decentralized approach and sustains collaborative partnerships with academic colleges, student affairs departments, employers, and alumni. Position Overview The Career Center Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire Student Services Coordinator (Career Coach) to join the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences team. This Career Coach will be the primary career advisor and educator for CLASS students and collaborate with Social Sciences related Career Coaches to ensure student career success. The CLASS Career Coach will provide one-on-one career coaching, career readiness instruction, career education facilitation in presentations, workshops, and groups, and event planning to promote networking, internship and job searches amongst students, employers, and alumni. |

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field and two years of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent public speaking skills with experience in conducting training workshops. |
|
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in counseling and two years' experience in Career Services or Career Counseling related to Liberal Arts disciplines. |
