The analyst will evaluate and characterize SAR imagery to assess quality, identify anomalies, and validate the impact of system changes on exploitation performance. They will collaborate with engineers and mission partners to ensure imagery meets operational requirements for intelligence missions.
Candidates must have a Top Secret clearance (up to TS/SCI with polygraph), a bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of national-level imagery analysis experience. Expertise in SAR phenomenology and proficiency with exploitation tools like SOCET GXP and RemoteView are required.
We are seeking a motivated Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Imagery Analyst to support the evaluation and characterization of SAR imagery for current and emerging sensor systems. The successful candidate will assess SAR image quality, identify artifacts and anomalies, and evaluate the impact of system and processing changes on exploitation performance. This role requires expertise throughout the SAR tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) lifecycle, as well as a strong understanding of SAR phenomenology and image interpretation.
The analyst will collaborate with engineers and mission partners to evaluate new sensor capabilities, validate product quality, and ensure imagery meets operational exploitation requirements. Experience with SAR image quality metrics, exploitation software, and National Image Interpretability Rating Scale (NIIRS) principles is highly desirable. This position plays a critical role in improving the performance, quality, and operational utility of SAR systems supporting our customer's intelligence mission.
