The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
Job Description
Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.
PLEASE NOTE: Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation as well as your having and maintaining the specific level of U.S. government background investigation and clearance required for this role.
We’re seeking an innovative, mission-driven product leader with a proven track record of taking bold ideas from concept through execution — turning them into real-world impact. Salesforce Missionforce is focused on enabling the worldwide government (Federal, State, and Local) and U.S. Defense, Intelligence Community, and Aerospace to accelerate decision-making, mission readiness, and digital transformation.
This leader will define and drive next-generation Salesforce capabilities purpose-built for the public sector — combining enterprise cloud, AI, analytics, and secure architectures to deliver high trust, high impact products.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute vision, strategy, and roadmap for Missionforce product offerings — especially for tax and revenue, judicial systems, personnel management, social programs, and mission readiness.
Dive deeply into product/platform architecture to ensure it supports key requirements of government and defense.
Lead the definition, planning, and delivery of feature work and compliance efforts, coordinating across development, testing, UX/design, security, legal, and ops teams.
Collaborate closely with customers, partners, Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), User Experience (UX), and User Research & Insights teams to identify opportunities and validate solutions.
Define and execute the product strategy for Missionforce products, including developing a new pricing and packaging model focused on customer outcomes.
Collaborate closely with customers, partners, Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), User Experience (UX), and User Research & Insights teams to identify opportunities and validate solutions.
Drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for new products and features to ensure a successful launch.
Lead cross-functional product launch activities, ensuring sales and marketing teams are equipped to drive adoption and revenue.
Evangelize product value internally—Salesforce teams, engineering, public sector leadership—and externally: government customers, implementation partners, prospects, events.
Establish and track clear success metrics; ensure visible progress every release toward closing gaps and maturing capabilities.
Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.
Minimum 5+ years product management experience; significant public sector and defense experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to set a compelling product vision and lead cross-functional teams to deliver in regulated, high-stakes environments.
Experience building and executing 2 to 3-year roadmaps that anticipate and respond to mission and market needs.
Deep knowledge of cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including hybrid models, multi-cloud strategy, and secure cloud operations for the government.
Strong background in AI/ML and analytics: applying AI and agents to automate workflow and accelerate decisions in logistics, personnel, mission operations, etc.
Expertise in security, compliance, regulatory frameworks: RMF, DoD SRG, NIST 800-53, as well as experience with DoD Cloud Access Point (CAP), Enterprise Email Security Gateway (EEMSG), etc.
Experience with large-scale data integration, processing, and derived insights in government or defense settings.
Ability to translate mission needs (e.g. field operations, personnel, tax & revenue, judicial systems, social programs, readiness, etc.) into product requirements/value propositions.
Strong experience in stakeholder management: aligning product, field teams, government customers, compliance/legal stakeholders.
TS/SCI Clearance preferred.
