Requires a minimum R2 competency, a recognized qualification under the 2006 Regulations, and a current driver's licence. Must have thorough knowledge of the NZ Building Code and Building Act 2004.

You'll use your knowledge and experience to engage with customers and provide consistent and high quality technical advice on all aspects of the building consent process and Building Act 2004.

Proven experience in Building Control Processing
Adaptability to a constantly changing work environment
Sound judgement that demonstrates fair and just outcomes
Sound computer skills
A current driver's licence
A qualification recognised under the Building (Accreditation of Building Consent Authorities) Regulations 2006
An established competency assessed under the National Competency Assessment System
A thorough knowledge of the NZ Building Code and Building Act 2004
Five weeks annual leave
