The Photographer/Videographer leads creative photoshoots and captures promotional content to visually represent the themes of the Collective Reflections publication. They collaborate with editors to curate the final publication and document related events.
Candidates must be able to implement the publication's mandate on equity and identity while coordinating with creative partners. They are required to attend training and meetings and adhere to all organizational ethical standards.

Job Description:
The Social Issues Commission (SIC) seeks to facilitate dialogue, education, and engagement on all matters related to equity, identity, and anti-oppression. Collective Reflections is an annual publication that strives to represent the diversity of Queen's students through poetry, prose, visual art, and all other printable mediums. Its mission is to provide a forum for creative expression within the Queen's and Kingston communities on a variety of topics and vectors of identity. Collective Reflections publishes submissions on, but not limited to, the following topics: disability and accessibility; racism and anti-racism; mental health/illness; Queer issues; and feminism.
The Photographer/Videographer leads creative photoshoots with contributors, captures promotional content, and documents Collective Reflections events to visually represent the publication’s themes and community. CoRe Members will work alongside the Editor(s)-in-Chief to promote the publication, encourage student submissions, and curate the final publication.

Representing over 18,000 Queen's students, the Alma Mater Society is the oldest student government in Canada. Mission: "To serve and represent the diversity of students at Queen's University" The AMS oversees the day-to-day operations of 11 student-run services, 700+ student staff, 200+ student volunteers, a number of student government committees aimed at promoting student interests, and over 350 clubs. Monitored by Director of Marketing and Director of Communications, Monday - Friday, 9-5pm.
