Purpose of roleReporting to the Third party and Complex Claims Manager, the Claims Handler will manage their own portfolio of motor cases, focusing on claims exceeding £100k including losses for injury, credit hire, vehicle and property damage. This position requires not only excellent communication and negotiation skills but also a deep understanding of liability, indemnity, and quantum issues to effectively drive down claims costs while ensuring fair compensation for injured claimants. The role also involves handling large loss claims and acting as a technical referral point to provide coaching, mentoring, and training to the claims handling teams.
