Lead safe and educational yoga classes for participants of all skill levels while building authentic relationships with members. Maintain accurate attendance records and adjust instruction to meet diverse health and cultural needs.
Requires national certification in group fitness (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) or YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise, along with CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. One year of experience teaching group wellness classes is preferred.

General Function
Under the guidance of the Member Experience Director, the Yoga Instructor instructs yoga classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness levels. The Yoga Instructor effectively builds community within the class and modifies class as needed to meet varied health, ability, and cultural needs.
