The lifeguard is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions and active surveillance of the pool area using established safety protocols. They must also respond to emergencies, perform equipment checks, and attend all required staff meetings and training sessions.
Candidates should have at least some high school education and be over 16 years of age. While a current American Red Cross Lifeguard license is preferred, the organization offers certification for those who do not currently hold one.
