About the Role:
This role will suit someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting, learn about the payments industry, and start their career in a fast-paced global technology company. This is a full-time paid internship.
Ideally, the candidate will have the following:
Currently in your second year and above of study or recently graduated in 2024 or 2025.
An A+/A equivalent bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, commerce, economics, or related field.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Quick learner with an interest in financial operations, reporting, and the payments industry.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A growth mindset, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Regularly reviewing customers’ accounts to identify overdue, take appropriate action to recover debts.
Negotiating payment plans and ensure that payment is received on time.
Contacting customers regarding missed payment and resolving billing issues.
Maintaining customer records.
Collaborate with various teams to support business and financial objectives.
