Provide general HR advice, coaching, and policy guidance to employees and leaders across the organization. Manage complex people matters including performance, absenteeism, and organizational change while identifying trends for specialist teams.
Requires extensive HR generalist experience within a large, fast-paced corporate environment. Candidates must demonstrate depth in applying policy to guide decision-making and possess strong commercial acumen.
This position provides general HR advice to employees and leaders across Westpac, acting as a trusted advisor on policies, employee matters, and HR calendar activities.
The position also provides coaching to people leaders on more complex matters, including performance management, and provides guidance to support effective decision-making. It also supports employees and leaders in navigating HR tools and services, while identifying patterns in employee matters and escalating more complex or sensitive issues to specialist People teams within the job family where required.
You’ll bring extensive HR generalist experience providing advice on people policies and workplace frameworks within a large, fast-paced corporate environment. You have demonstrated depth in applying policy to guide decision-making, with the ability to navigate complex people matters and tailor your approach to different working styles and business needs.
