The Chef will prepare nutritious, restaurant-quality meals for residents while managing food budgets and stock control. They are also responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation within the kitchen.
Candidates must have experience in a catering environment and hold a Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and knowledge of health and safety procedures are also required.

We’re excited to welcome a Chef to support the preparation of nutritious, restaurant-quality meals at our 34 Greenwich Drive North Retirement Community in Derby DE22 4BH, without the long hours or split shifts often found in hospitality. Working alongside the Chef Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high standards of food, presentation, and dining experience within a calm, well-structured kitchen environment.
