The role involves developing, analyzing, and maintaining core business applications on the iSeries platform using RPG IV/ILE and Free form. The developer will also drive modernization initiatives through SQL, API integrations, and AI-assisted development tools.
Candidates should have proven experience in full lifecycle system delivery and strong proficiency in RPG, CL, and SQL. A bachelor's degree in computer science and knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance principles are preferred.
This position will perform development, analysis, and maintenance activities on several key corporate applications. The ideal candidate will be an experienced RPG developer to help evolve and upgrade critical applications on our iSeries (AS/400) platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with stable systems while driving modernization initiatives with SQL, API and web service integrations, Visual Studio Code, and AI assisted development.
This candidate must be motivated and a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as within a team.
Estimated Compensation Range: $90,000/year-$120,000/year*
*Published ranges are estimates. Offered compensation will be based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. In addition, starting salary may vary by position depending on whether the position is in-office, hybrid or remote.
