Our Finance division is seeking a proactive Finance Operations Specialist who will work in close collaboration with Controlling and Finance as well as Data Platform and application specialist teams to support their ‘End of Month Reporting Processes’.

What would your role be? 

• Work closely supporting the "month-end closing" financial closings, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reports.

• Contribute to the generation and distribution of financial and management reports in a timely manner.

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.

• Document existing operational processes and identify feasible optimization and automation potentials; work together with data and automation specialists to implement these enhancements.

• Continuously improve our existing set of reports to increase the informational value of the output generated.

What are we looking for? 

• Degree from a higher education institution (e.g. university, technical university, or university of applied sciences) in computer science or an equivalent qualification with a focus on IT.

• Young professional with distinct service / customer orientation and able to work precisely and with high quality standards also when under pressure.

• Advanced Excel skills with a focus on complex data analysis and transformation.

• Expertise in audit trail review and change log analysis to support compliance and accuracy.

• Strong SQL proficiency for financial data extraction, validation, and analysis.

• Proven ability to extract and reconcile large-scale datasets from ERP systems (including SAP).

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

• Solid understanding of cloud-based data storage solutions (data lakes and data warehouses).

• Exposure to APIs and automated data pipelines for efficient data integration.

• Familiarity with modern data architectures, including batch and real-time processing frameworks.

• Experience with Power BI/Tableau and reporting layer development.

• Foundational knowledge of Azure services, including data storage and pipeline orchestration.
