The lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of pool users and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the pool area. They must also handle pool equipment and be prepared to perform life-saving duties when necessary.
Candidates must hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (RLSS) and possess strong swimming skills. Excellent customer service abilities and a safety-conscious mindset are essential for this role.

As a Lifeguard you’ll be an important part of life here at the centre as you ensure that everyone can use the pool in safety and that they have access to everything they need to enjoy their visit.

Our leisure centre has a close knit and supportive team, all working towards providing an inclusive leisure hub for the entire community.
