The Machine Operator will safely and efficiently operate machinery while ensuring that products meet quality and customer specifications. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and collaborating with other departments to ensure correct production and shipment.
Candidates should have 1-3 years of related experience and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. A high school diploma or GED is required.
● Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
● Ability to work independently as well as with a crew/team.
Pay Range $20.00 - $21.50
This job operates in a production environment using standard equipment with exposure to loud noise, dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, and moving vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see.
The physical requirements listed below are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
● Walking/Standing - walk and stand when operating machine
● Ability to lift, twist, push, pull, and carry items weighing a few ounces up to 150 pounds with assistance when needed, and utilize pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) for skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds
