The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:
Requirements: Completed Honours Bachelor in Food and Nutrition Sciences or related field. Good knowledge of the course subject. Good analytical skills. Excellent written and spoken English.
If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must clearly explain in their résumé how their academic background connects to Food and Nutrition Sciences.
Nature of the work: Teaching assistance, including proctoring and marking assessments, such as projects, quizzes, midterm examinations, and the final examination. Contribution to updating and enhancing course content through the integration of relevant educational resources and innovative technological tools. Support for students by answering their questions and facilitating their understanding of the concepts covered.
Delivery method: In person - Campus Lees. Must be available Fridays from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
