UGL is seeking a highly motivated Site Testing & Commissioning Supervisor to support the delivery of a major rail tunnel project. This role will play a critical part in ensuring testing and commissioning activities are safely planned, coordinated, and executed on site.
Working closely with the Site Testing & Commissioning Manager, you will provide day-to-day supervision of commissioning works, coordinate field activities, and support the safe delivery of project milestones.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Site Testing & Commissioning Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of site testing and commissioning activities.
Prepare and maintain site safety documentation, including Work Method Statements (WMS), SWMS, permits, risk assessments, and commissioning documentation.
Conduct daily pre-start briefings, toolbox talks, and safety meetings with site personnel and contractors.
Supervise testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project procedures, specifications, and safety requirements.
Coordinate commissioning interfaces with construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed in accordance with approved schedules.
Assist with the preparation of test records, inspection reports, commissioning packs, and handover documentation.
Identify, escalate, and assist in resolving site issues, defects, and commissioning constraints.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all work fronts.
Support site inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
About You
Demonstrated experience in testing and commissioning, construction supervision, or rail infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of site safety requirements, permit systems, and risk management processes.
Experience leading work crews and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in a live project environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to read and interpret commissioning procedures, drawings, and technical documentation.
Rail, tunnel, electrical, signalling, communications, mechanical, or systems experience highly regarded.
Relevant trade qualification, diploma, or engineering qualification preferred.
