About the Role
UGL is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Energy & Industrial team. You will play a key role in the development and delivery of electrical engineering designs for renewable energy and power generation projects.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, you'll contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and tendering through to design, commissioning and project delivery.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and deliver electrical engineering designs in accordance with project and company requirements.
Coordinate design activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
Review, verify and approve engineering designs and technical documentation.
Manage technical interfaces between stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors.
Support tendering activities, technical proposals and design cost estimates.
Your Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in power generation or renewable energy projects.
Experience working within engineering design and project delivery environments.
Ability to coordinate and supervise technical design activities.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

This network ensures the safe movement of people and goods throughout the regions of NSW, and links Sydney with many important regional centres. UGL Regional Linx commenced operations on January 30 2022 and works on behalf of the client, Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and will be responsible for managing an important network of assets. As part of its operation, UGL Regional Linx’s scope of work includes: • Network operations • Rail infrastructure maintenance and implementation of a new train control system - UGL’s proprietary system, Sigview. • Asset and property management, and • Safety, access, performance, and environmental management. As part of its operations, UGL Regional Linx established its head office and Network Control Centre in the heart of the Central West, Orange, NSW.
