Oversee daily investment operations, including reconciling the Investment Book of Record and managing client reporting for UBC. Provide leadership and mentorship to analysts while driving process improvements and automation within the investment operations function.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of fund accounting experience across multiple private asset classes and expertise in performance measurement and custody. A CPA designation is considered an asset, along with a proven track record of project leadership and stakeholder management.

Job Description
The Associate / Sr. Associate, Investment Operations will assist in overseeing daily investment operations functions. The candidate will bring at least 5-10 years of experience and subject matter expertise in investment operations to support the increase in investment process sophistication and growth in assets under management. The candidate exhibits coaching and leadership tendencies and a proven track record of sharing their expertise and knowledge and training their colleagues.
The candidate ideally showcases passion to excel in investment operations, matches the work pace and rhythm of a growing and ambitious investment organization, and reflects UBCIM’s core values.

UBCIM will consider candidates with varying levels of qualification and experience. Total compensation will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
This role is primarily an in-office role and as such the successful candidate must reside in the Metro Vancouver Area.
