Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Senior SAP Techno-Functional Lead to support and enhance enterprise business systems across SAP and adjacent reporting, analytics, and workflow platforms. This role will serve as a key bridge between business operations and technology, combining SAP functional expertise, technical systems understanding, and data-driven reporting capabilities to improve process execution, visibility, and decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP functional and technical support, with the ability to work across business process design, system enhancements, integrations, reporting, and operational analytics. This person will partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, support enterprise applications, and deliver meaningful insights through Power BI dashboards, Smartsheet solutions, KPI reporting, and metrics development.

Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation, and emerging digital solutions is highly desirable, particularly where AI can improve reporting, workflow efficiency, business intelligence, or decision support.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Functional & Technical Leadership

• Serve as a lead resource across SAP functional and technical initiatives, supporting business process improvements, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts. 
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into SAP solutions, and support delivery of scalable system capabilities. 
• Provide support across SAP modules and business workflows, ensuring alignment between system design and operational needs. 
• Collaborate with technical teams, developers, and third-party partners to support SAP integrations, configuration changes, reporting solutions, and process improvements. 
• Help drive system governance, process consistency, documentation, and user adoption across SAP-enabled workflows. 

Business Process Improvement & Systems Support

• Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, automation, and reporting through SAP and supporting enterprise tools. 
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across operational, financial, and cross-functional business processes. 
• Act as a liaison between IT and the business, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered effectively. 
• Assist in resolving system issues, managing enhancements, and supporting ongoing platform performance and business continuity. 
• Partner with functional leaders to improve data flow, reduce manual work, and streamline business operations. 

Dashboard Creation, Metrics & Reporting

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to provide visibility into key business metrics, KPIs, and operational performance. 
• Translate raw business data into actionable reporting and analytics for leadership and operational teams. 
• Develop and track metrics related to system performance, process efficiency, productivity, service levels, and business outcomes. 
• Support enterprise reporting initiatives by integrating data across SAP and non-SAP systems. 
• Work with stakeholders to define KPI requirements, reporting standards, and dashboard priorities. 

Smartsheet & Workflow Management

• Build and maintain Smartsheet-based solutions for project tracking, workflow visibility, status reporting, and operational coordination. 
• Use Smartsheet to support cross-functional planning, task management, reporting, and business process transparency. 
• Partner with teams to improve workflow management and reporting cadence through automated or semi-automated solutions. 

AI, Automation & Digital Enablement

• Support adoption of AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, and emerging technologies that improve business productivity, reporting, analysis, or process execution. 
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI or intelligent automation within reporting, business process workflows, system support, or analytics use cases. 
• Collaborate with leadership on digital transformation efforts involving data, automation, and smarter business operations. 
• Stay current on AI, reporting, and enterprise technology trends that could add value across the organization. 

Cross-Platform Systems Integration

• Support integration and data consistency across SAP, Power BI, Smartsheet, Excel, and other enterprise applications. 
• Work with IT, data, and business teams to ensure system connectivity, reliable reporting, and clean data structures across platforms. 
• Help improve enterprise visibility by connecting business systems, dashboards, and reporting outputs into a cohesive operating model. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SAP functional, techno-functional, or business systems roles 
• Strong experience working within SAP environments, including functional support, process improvement, and business systems optimization 
• Experience building or supporting Power BI dashboards, reporting, metrics, and KPI visibility 
• Experience with Smartsheet for workflow tracking, project management, reporting, or operational coordination 
• Strong understanding of cross-functional business processes and how enterprise systems support them 
• Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions, reporting outputs, and process improvements 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups 
• Experience supporting data quality, reporting consistency, and business process visibility across multiple platforms 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a techno-functional SAP role with both business-facing and technical coordination responsibilities 
• Exposure to AI tools, intelligent automation, or digital transformation initiatives 
• Experience creating executive dashboards, operational scorecards, and leadership reporting 
• Background in enterprise systems integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms 
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving operations, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, or corporate systems 
• Experience improving reporting frameworks, performance metrics, and business analytics capabilities 

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SAP analytics, reporting, or adjacent enterprise applications 
• Experience with Power Automate, automation tools, or workflow optimization platforms 
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices, reporting governance, and KPI framework development 
• Experience supporting change management, user training, or process documentation 
• Exposure to AI copilots, business intelligence automation, or predictive reporting tools 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
