Your mission

Join Paradex as we redefine the financial landscape through decentralized finance. We are on the lookout for a Quantitative Trader to be a key player in our Quantitative Research team. In this role, you’ll focus on building and refining trading and risk infrastructure for Paradex Protocol Vaults.

What You’ll Do

• Strategy Development: Build systematic trading strategies to provide liquidity and generate profit for protocol vaults.

• Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage trading metrics and data analysis to enhance decision-making, scale existing strategies, and boost profitability.

• Creative Problem Solving: Apply innovative problem-solving techniques and strategic decision-making to optimize execution.

• Team Collaboration: Regularly update stakeholders on strategy performance, propose actionable improvements, and align on project goals to drive a shared vision forward.

What You Bring

• Operational Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities and a strong interest in trading and technology.

• Complex Systems Thinking: Understand and evaluate the interplay of moving parts within trading systems to design robust strategies.

• Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Mathematical Skills: Strong proficiency in mathematics, particularly in probability theory, statistics, and numerical methods.

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in quantitative programming languages like Python, C++, or Go, with experience in back-testing, simulation, and statistical analysis.

• Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial derivatives, market microstructure, and options pricing models.
