The Economic Development Manager will lead the implementation of the Downtown Master Plan and drive local economic growth through business recruitment, retention, and redevelopment initiatives. They will also coordinate marketing, special events, and community engagement efforts while managing grant applications and public-private partnerships.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in economic development or community planning. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are required, along with familiarity with North Carolina economic development practices.

Hiring Range: $89,000 – $112,000 annually
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt
