Operate light equipment and power tools to maintain town parks, buildings, and public grounds. Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, cleaning, painting, and facility repairs.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid State of Florida Driver's License. Candidates should have some experience operating light or heavy equipment, with a CDL recommended.

Position Summary:
This position is involved in the operation of light equipment used in the operation, maintenance and repair of parks, buildings, playgrounds, trees, streets, sidewalks, drainage, and general maintenance. Work varies seasonally and is predominantly an outdoor position. This position involves the operation of power equipment. The incumbent operates lawn mowers, weed eaters, tractor with mower, ditch diggers, hedge trimmers, as well as other hand tools. Routine maintenance and lubrication of equipment is performed. This position reports directly to the Operations Superintendent under the Public Works Director. Work is performed both independently and in a team.

The Town provides police, fire, EMS, water & sewer service, streets, parks, special events, cemetery, building permitting, finance and billing services for our residents. The Town is governed by a council of 5 members elected from at-large registered voters. Day-to-day operations of the Town are under the direction of the Town Manager who works with the department heads to implement the policies set forth by the Council.
