Warehouse Manager
Pay: $65,000 annually, based on experience

The Role
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, including inventory management, material flow, logistics coordination, equipment control, material pricing, and team leadership.
This role ensures that field teams receive the right materials on time, inventory is accurate, and warehouse operations are safe, organized, and efficient. The position will also support wireless and wireline cabinet staging and other light telecom-related warehouse activities.
QualificationsWhat You’ll Do
Warehouse Leadership & Operations
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, shipping, and inventory.
Develop and enforce warehouse processes, standards, and workflows.
Ensure materials and equipment are available to support field crews and project schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and efficient warehouse.
Support wireless and wireline cabinet staging and other light telecom-related preparation activities.
Inventory & Logistics Management
Maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Coordinate material deliveries, transfers, shipments, and returns.
Manage equipment storage, maintenance tracking, and asset control.
Research and compare material pricing to support purchasing and cost-control decisions.
Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, deliveries, and returns.
Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials.
Drive a company box truck for local deliveries, pickups, and material transfers as needed.
People Leadership & Safety
Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff.
Enforce TCE safety standards and warehouse compliance requirements.
Promote accountability, organization, teamwork, and professionalism.
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for results.
Cross-Functional Support
Partner with Operations, Project Management, Finance, and field teams.
Support job-costing and material-tracking efforts.
Provide reporting and visibility into inventory, material costs, and warehouse performance.
Coordinate material and equipment needs based on project schedules.
Support other logistics and operational projects as needed.
What You Need to Be a Fit
Three to five years of warehouse or logistics experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Experience managing inventory in telecommunications, construction, utilities, or another field-based environment is preferred.
Wireless or wireline telecommunications experience is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with telecom equipment, materials, cabinets, and field operations is preferred.
Forklift operating experience and certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
Experience driving a box truck for local deliveries and material transfers.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
CDL is a plus but is not required for TCE’s non-CDL box truck.
Experience researching material prices and coordinating with vendors.
Strong organizational, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to implement and improve warehouse systems and processes.
Comfortable using inventory software and basic reporting tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be local to the Carrollton, TX, area.
Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.
