The Staff Accountant will manage indirect tax compliance, regulatory filings, and treasury activities including cash forecasting and bank reconciliations. Additionally, the role supports month-end close processes, financial reporting, and internal control improvements.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field with at least 3 years of progressive accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills are required, while professional certifications like CPA or CMA are preferred.
The Staff Accountant – Tax & Treasury Operations will support key finance and accounting operations, with a focus on indirect tax compliance, cash flow reporting, and operational accounting. This role will be responsible for preparing and filing excise taxes, sales and use tax returns, and other regulatory filings while also supporting treasury activities, cash forecasting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes. This role reports directly to Tilley’s Assistant Controller.
