The role involves preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements and performing cost accounting and internal audits. Additionally, the accountant will analyze general ledger data and prepare year-end work papers for external tax accountants.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required along with a solid understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and strong professional communication skills are essential.
