Position summary
Control what comes in and what goes out: leather, soles, welt, thread, hardware, boxes and finished goods.
Essential functions
Receive, verify and put away incoming material against the purchase order. Flag every short and every substitution.
Issue material to the line against the production schedule. Stage leather by lot for Cutting.
Run cycle counts and keep inventory accurate in the system of record.
Stage, load and ship outbound finished goods. Generate and verify carrier paperwork.
Operate the forklift and pallet jack safely and hold current certification.
Support the repair and recommerce lines: receive, sort and stage returned footwear.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications
Two or more years in a warehouse, receiving or shipping role.
Current forklift certification, or able to certify within 30 days of hire.
Able to work in an inventory system and to be trusted with a count.
Physical requirements and work environment
Lifting up to 50 pounds. Standing, walking and climbing. Forklift operation. Dock work in ambient temperature, hot in summer and
cold in winter. Reasonable accommodation is available to qualified individuals with disabilities.
