The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for negotiating freight rates with carriers and coordinating shipments between shippers and consignees. They also track shipments and collaborate with sales and customer service teams on logistics tasks.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in freight or traffic and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of customs formalities and strong interpersonal communication skills are also required.
Responsibilities:

The traffic coordinator creates successful relationships with carriers, shipping personnel, customer service, and all other company employees. Knowledge of the shipping industry locally and/or internationally would be considered an asset.
