The instructor is responsible for designing and leading safe, energetic aqua fitness classes for adults from the pool deck. They must manage class equipment, adhere to exercise physiology standards, and provide exemplary service to all participants.
Candidates must hold a professional certification (such as AEA, ACE, or YMCA) and a current CPR/AED certification. A minimum of one year of teaching experience and the ability to create music-based curricula is required.

This job posting is for a part-time Aqua Fit Instructor at Menlo Swim & Sport's Burgess location or Palo Alto Swim & Sport's Rinconada location.
Team Sheeper, Inc. is headquartered in Menlo Park, CA at Burgess. We have additional locations in Menlo Park and Palo Alto. At our Burgess site, we offer swim lessons for children and adults, youth swim programs, water exercise programs, masters swim program, and summer camp. Our Palo Alto site offers seasonal swim lessons and summer camp. Our Belle Haven site offers seasonal swim lessons and water exercise programs. We are looking for an Aqua Fit Instructor to join our Burgess team in Menlo Park and our Rinconada team in Palo Alto.
The Aqua Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing class participants with a well-designed, physically safe program to serve the needs of the class participants. The Water Fitness Instructor must be an energetic, dedicated and motivated individual who enjoys teaching fitness to groups of adults. The Aqua Fitness Instructor must be able to effectively teach the class from the pool deck.
