The Order Picker is responsible for accurately picking customer orders using manual and powered material handling equipment. Additional duties include performing quality checks, restocking shelves, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Candidates must be comfortable with heights up to 35 feet and capable of lifting 50+ pounds. Proficiency in English and the ability to operate a forklift or order picker are required.

Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Order Picker to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility!
Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
Ensures accuracy of picking customer orders
Perform quality checks
May operate materials handling equipment
Picks orders with manual equipment and powered material handling equipment (i.e. order picker or lift)
Verifies stock availability and stock shelves
Repackage orders
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Cleans and maintains a safe working environment
Maintains related records
You Must Have:
Must be able to use a ring scanner
Must be comfortable with heights up to 35'
Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math
Detail oriented
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment where you maintain and enhance department goals
Effectively communicate and work in a team environment
Self-motivated and able to multi task
Ability to operate material handling equipment (order picker / forklift)
Requirements within this position:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 50+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
Experience in Pick/Packing
