Full job description

Tampnet is expanding its commercial team in the Gulf of America and is seeking a results-driven sales professional to help grow our presence in the offshore platform and maritime markets.

This position can be based along the Gulf Coast from Houston to New Orleans.

About Tampnet

Tampnet operates the world's largest offshore high-capacity communications networks, delivering LTE, private 5G, and fiber-backed connectivity to offshore energy assets, maritime vessels, and other infrastructure. In the Gulf of America, we connect platforms, deepwater assets, and a growing maritime fleet, and we continue to invest in the next generation of offshore data services.

At Tampnet, we embrace an entrepreneurial mindset and are fortunate to work with talented colleagues across different geographies, all aligned toward a common goal, to continuously move Tampnet forward. As the world’s leading offshore communications provider, we are proud to contribute to a greener planet while enhancing the quality of life for others.

Our core values guide the way we work: we are Dedicated, Reliable, Innovative, Caring, and we act with Integrity — together, we represent the Tampnet DRIVE.

By joining us, you will become part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and employee well-being. We take pride in fostering a positive work environment and offer various initiatives for professional and social enrichment, including training sessions, team-building activities, and activity competitions such as "Tampnet on the Move".

In this role, you will lead new business development end-to-end, build pipeline, engage technical and commercial decision-makers, and close connectivity and managed-services deals across the region. This position offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology while helping customers solve complex communications challenges in one of the world's most demanding environments.

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Drive new-business development across offshore platform operators, maritime vessels, and drilling rigs

  • Position Tampnet's connectivity and managed-services portfolio against customer needs and competing solutions

  • Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline against clear targets

  • Develop and deepen relationships across the Gulf of America offshore and maritime market

  • Partner with engineering and operations teams on coverage, deployment, and service planning

  • Forecast accurately and deliver against revenue and margin goals

  • Represent Tampnet at customer meetings, industry events, and site visits, including occasional travel to ports, customer facilities, and offshore locations.

Qualification requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in offshore energy, telecommunications, satellite/VSAT, maritime services, or industrial connectivity

  • Demonstrated success developing new business and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with technical decision-makers

  • Working knowledge of connectivity technologies such as LTE/5G, SD-WAN, satellite, and managed network services

  • Established relationships in the Gulf of America offshore or maritime market (strongly preferred)

  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value

  • Ability to travel as needed throughout the Gulf Coast region, including occasional offshore visits

Why Tampnet

  • Represent a differentiated portfolio in a growing, competitive market

  • Build and grow a high-potential sales territory with significant market opportunity.

  • Join a global leader driving the future of offshore connectivity.

As a part of Tampnet’s ESG responsibility, we have the ambition to build a strong, diverse, and inclusive company culture with a focus on gender equality. Our mission is to close the gender gap, promote equality, and contribute to a sustainable future for business and society.

Our values are to be dedicated, caring, show integrity, be innovative, and be reliable. We believe in these qualities, which are essential for building an even stronger Tampnet.
