The Senior Accountant manages monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. They also oversee accounts payable, coordinate with external auditors, and partner with cross-functional teams to manage project accounting and billing.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in renewable energy or construction. Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar ERPs and advanced Excel skills are essential.

We invest in that future by financing and managing renewable energy projects that benefit diverse communities through clean power, carbon reduction, cost savings and job creation.
Sunwealth offices are located in Cambridge’s Porter Square and New York City’s Financial District. We work on a hybrid schedule, ideally three (3) days per week in the Cambridge office.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role on a small, collaborative team and support the Manager of Accounting in managing the financial and accounting operations of the company. This individual will partner closely with stakeholders across the organization, bringing strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
